The 2018 quilt show registration form has been posted on the Quilt show page

The World Quilt Competition XXII will be judged August 16-18, 2018 at World Quilt New England in Manchester, New Hampshire.  I am the Canadian Coordinator for the competition and ask if you would pass this information onto your membership.

The deadline for contest entrants to postmark or email completed entries is May 14, 2018.  You may mail your entry and images (on a CD), or scan and email your entry form to me at along with the full view and close up images of your quilt.

There are many talented quilters living in Canada and I would like to encourage more people to enter.  As well as the potential to earn prize money, quilts will include an extended tour of the USA increasing visibility among fellow artists.

We will auction about 40 items Dec and June meetings. We have combined items, so if you don’t see your specific donation, it might be for June’s meeting or hiding with a kit, quilt top in a Lot as we combined items together.    We will display the auction items early in the evening on tables, so you can write down which items you are interested in bidding on.    You will not be disappointed with the great donations we received.
  • When purchasing for the Auction – Please make cheques payable to Blue Mt. Quilters Guild (BMQG) or cash ONLY. No credit cards!  We cannot give you your items until they have been paid in Full.
