FVMQG is hosting Peter Byrne on April 22/23 with his workshop Hover Quilting. This is a 2 day workshop from 9:15 – 2:30pm (pst) both days. The cost is $80.00 and includes a kit that will be mailed out. Hover quilting is a new form of raw edge applique that creates the illusion of applique hovering above the quilt top. There are still spaces available and now that Peter has won another award with Quilt Con, he will be in greater demand.

FVMQG is hosting David Owen Hastings for a Zoom workshop Sat June 10 at 9:00-3:00pm PST. Inspired by Art is an excellent workshop. Starting with a favorite work of art, develop your own unique modern quilt design. Be inspired by shape, color, structure or the feelings inspired and design a block or quilt with an eye on modern minimalism. Cost is $120.00.
