Come join us on November 30th for a whirlwind day of holiday joy, crafting, and celebrating the contributions of our retiring Retail Manager/Education Coordinator, Jacque Chase. Jacque has been involved with the museum for 20+ years and has been on staff as our Retail Manager/Education Coordinator for 11+ years. Her eye for textiles has filled the gift shop with all the beautiful things all our visitors love to look at, and her contributions are too numerous to number! She will be missed! Early on during the week of Thanksgiving, our volunteers and employees will be busy decorating the mansion up for the Christmas holiday! We’ll have Christmas trees around the mansion and decorations through the house. On Saturday, November 30th, a celebration for Jacque will be held from 12 – 3 pm with our traditional museum open house directly following, from 3 – 5 pm. Refreshments will be available in the library, and NEW this year, the third floor will serve as a pop-up gift factory, with handmade crafts for visitors to make and take with them as gifts for the holiday season! Admission on Saturday, November 30th is FREE for all visitors! Come share in some holiday fun!! |
