    Dec Meeting

    We had a Cowgirl Christmas meeting with a potluck. There was variety of different dishes and desserts and it was all delicious.   Highlights of the meeting: -There is still room in the Spring Retreat – More reports still to come on the Quilt Show. Once all in committee will report. -Nominating Committee is starting to look for candidates for 2015 executive. -Royal Columbia NIC unit is extremely appreciative for all the preemie quilts that the quild donates. – Decision on who will get the community quilt will be made at the January meeting.  Heather will be sending out an email to the membership with information…

    Oct Meeting

    President report – Wendy Lynn and Renelle attended a meeting of the Gathering of the Guilds – they gathered information for future programs. There was discussion of quilds doing quilt shows together. There was also discussion of several guilds joining forces to bring in a famous quilter to same costs. There was mention of a new retreat location in Langley. (Sorry did not get name). Next meeting Apr 11, 2015.     Sept Meeting Notes

    Welcome back everyone!!! Hope you all had a great summer. Quilt Show – Still looking for quilts. We would like a quilt from each guild member. Kari is still collecting items for the gift baskets. Retreats – Summer one went well. Would like to encourage members to sign up again next summer. Spring Retreat will be April 17-19, 2015 – registrations will begin at October meeting. Community quilt – Have enough blocks now. Monica will quilt the quilt and should be ready in a couple months. Karen Johnson local fibre artist gave an interesting truck show.
